ASSOCIATION POUR LA PROMOTION DES PÊCHES ET DES CULTURES MARINES (APPECMAR) défendre les intérêts du sociétariat de la coopération maritime française ; promouvoir la filière des pêches et des cultures marines ; défendre les intérêts des métiers de la mer, tant auprès des administrations que des collectivités publiques et que des instances politiques et économiques, tant au niveau régional que national et européen ; organiser toutes actions concourant à la réalisation de cet objet ; l'association constitue également entre ses membres un cercle de réflexion sur toutes questions relatives aux pêches et cultures marines.
